There is a slight mark on the pistons yes, nothing too serious though as far as I'm told.

I was thinking cam chain may have snapped. No reason for these to slip though, they are unhooked off for cams to be installed, so maybe a tensioner not retightended, don't know. Who is sorting it out for you, hope this is minimal damage and cost for you.

I got the car recovered from Tewkesbury to Mountune and they've looked at the car for me. Some how my engine skipped a link in the cam chain, putting my intake cam out of time. Luckily nothing was damaged, however they have no idea how it happened as my chain tensioner is fine?

Luckily its the open day tomorrow, so I will be down to collect it!

Yeah, not sure what time I will pop down, I've got to get my dad to give me a lift down. 3 hour drive so I will get there around 12. Will have a quick nose around. Looking forward to getting my car back after a week!
