Iv toyed with this idea but £2000? Pfffft. Put that towards a faster car lol. I shall remain with my 150bhp for a while and add a few bhp gainers like exhaust but that is all lol.

if you were to do the cold air induction, exhaust and remap indivicually from any supplier etc. would it work out cheaper than the 165 package? possible consideration.

depends if you get it second hand or not, if new probably not much cheaper no
They did a deal a few months back for one day where it was only £1300 for the 165 kit, I only found out after it had ended but I would have gone if I had known and booked it in

all i'm doing on mine is getting a 60mm throttle body for it and thats it. thought about mr200 but i cant really justify it when i could be saving for something quicker and newer with less miles on it and i want a convertible of some type lol

Did you get each stage straight up? Or were they on the car already?

I went straight for the 185 coz I was travelling all the way to essex. Didnt get a chance to see what the 165 was like. The car was standard when I brought it

Ah right, bet that set you back a fair bit! Was it a present or did you just go for it?

Yeah was 2049 I think and I paid for it out of my yearly bonus and some savings I had. Just went for it after considering about using jamsport but I still had a warranty on my car

Quick question, what fuel are these mapped to for the 165/185 kits? Or does it not matter as much?

Do you still get pops/bangs with the 165? I know it won't be as much as the 185.

I would stick Vpower in for any of upgrades particulary 185. After that the you can use whatever you want, makes little difference, mine loves Fuelsave, and on it most of the time. ST was set up on BP95.
165 pops a fair bit but it's nice and discreet, 185 pops more and does it on upshifts, really funny, sort of chuckles for quite a few seconds. MR200 is more random, not much on upshift, but when it does it's much more of a roaring monster, come off throttle and drop a cog say up a motorway slip road and it's spits back like WRC car

well I love my 165 and still enjoying it 2 months on was it worth the money? yes definately The upgrade changed the car for the better... giving it the real "kick up the arse" the standard needed imho. I'm an older owner and find the car much more fun and responsive since the upgrade plus I like the noise it makes MR200 still being considered cos it must be awesome I'm still jealous Yellowbadge lol
