Well, it was finally fitted yesterday!

Dropped my car off at Evans Halshaw Blackpool at around 9am, we were very kindly dropped off at the sea front and were told we would get a call when it was all finished. I got a call around 2:30pm saying the car was ready (it took a bit longer as I asked if I could get my Kaylan mud flaps fitted as well

)
After payment, Simon took me out to look over the car and explain what's been done etc. As soon as he fired up the engine I had a large grin on my face. It sounds amazing! Few blips of the throttle and it gets even better!
One thing I always missed from my old MK5 Zetec s was the Milltek exhaust, this sounds even better. Going home I loved how smooth driving off from a standstill was (as many people have said before, it can be jerky unless you get the clutch/throttle just right). The induction/exhaust sounds are brilliant, I can't get over how good it is, quiet when you want it to be, even when crusing at 70mph back down the motorway, you can hear it, but you don't have to raise your voice to talk over it. Put your foot down and it roars (I can't imagine how good the MR200 inlet sounds).
I played a bit of a game on the way home, if I saw someones window open I gave the throttle a quick stab to see if they looked in their mirror at what it was

Childish? Probably. Did I care? No. Did I keep on doing it? You bet.
The car has so much more torque through the gears its crazy, it's as if there is a bigger engine under the bonnet, you can feel it surging forward until you let off the pedal, when you are met with pops and bangs, I don't think I will ever get tired of that. What else can I say? It's been a long 3 months, and an even longer post. But I love it!
