Yep all the modified car insurers are coming back miles cheaper with the points declared and with my planned mods stated (lowering, K&N and exhaust).

I've got skysinsurance and adrian flux calling me tomorrow. Are there any other modded insurers I should try?

I'm going to argue the case with Admiral tomorrow afternoon just for the ease of it all but probably just going to end up cancelling.

It may be logged on their insurance database, but they havn't taken any money off you, so they stand nowhere if you were to ring and cancel.

They can't void your insurance, as you will be cancelling anyway. You havn't claimed, so they havn't lost anything (I'd understand if you were claiming).

At the end of the day, it's a mistake, nothing has been lost, you have the right to cancel, and you get your money back.

be careful cancelling half way through the year some companies cancel your no claims so you start from scratch

Yeah I know I'll lose the NCB for this year but it's only been 3 months so sod it.

EDIT: If dan the man means I'd lose all my NCB (i.e. 3 years) then that's the first time I've heard of that happening.

I'd ring and cancel. It would be against the law for them to take £480 off you as you havn't taken a full years cover.

Greenlight wouldnt insure me, im too high risk apparently, but then my mate with the same mods and same age has cheaper insurance than me with greenlight

Insurance makes no sense to me at all, same as most people.

At aviva we don't charge to add convictions/claims onto policy's mid term, even it's because you missed them off your quote.

I'll get a quote with aviva now, haven't tried them tbh.
