cheers 4 the info mate. i had to get a new tilt handle aswell becuase thats what went first and
then i found out tht the cable had siezed up and had to order the cable, so at the min iv got the new handle already on just need to take out the old cable and reconnect

stupid question but will the airbag be ok if i took the seat out, dont want it going off lol

To be on safe side disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and then unplug the airbag
