have painted my dipstick and water bottle cap with lemon yellow enamel, will need a few coats but should look original.

yes there is a small indentation there, just got it on the latch at momement and going pub in an hour so will have to close it, hoping it's dry to tacky and won't leave any yellow on my cover, might just stick a sheet of paper over it or something.

just leave the dipstick out and put a little bit of tape over the top to stop anything getting in there

piece of foil over the water cap now and bonett shut, as it's Pub time and a band on.
