Has anyone seen this:

http://www.ametech.co.uk/

Seen it around quite a bit lately, bit pricey but meant to restore the engine to when it was new?

Could be good for the older cars out there? Anyone used it or know if it works?

At my 100 000 km service at my local Ford dealer they used Forte on the engine so don't know if that's a standard service point.

One of the problems on old engine if you use cleaning liquids in the engine is that old cracks and gaps that are sealed by old thickened oil and stuff now get washed away so the engine cold start to leak.

STash recommended slick 50 to me. Will give it a go at the next oil change.

I have used this in all my cars, started using it over 15 years ago, i was advised not to use slick 50, but each to there own.

Engine restore.....These things do make you laugh. Nothing, and I mean nothing can restore an engine, except hard work and new parts.

If your looking for an additive that helps clean your engine etc, look no further than Slick 50. I have always used this on every service. It isn't cheap at £22 (IIRC), but it's well worth the money.

This

If it can take out scores, put bearing shells and piston rings back to original condition then flipping me no one will ever need to do a rebuild!
