Anyone know what the internal bore size is on the return pipe to the PAS reservoir?

Also on the reservoir, which pipe is the return pipe?

Don't know what the bore size is but I can tell you that the pipe on top at the back of the reservoir is the return pipe

I would guess at 10mm as this is a standard size for a pas return pipe.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd piggyback on his one

Anyone know how much fluid is required for a full PAS fluid change?

Cheers

A 1 litre bottle should be more than enough after a litre in mine she was good to go

Changed my PAS fluid yesterday - the old stuff was a disgrace!

My steering feels a little lighter again but I still get the odd whine... not sure how much longer the pump is going to last

I think i've read on here before that you need to change the fluid a few times in quick succession (again after 100 miles, same again after another 100 for example) if you're fluid has totally boiled and become spoiled as it's impossible to get all the old out and it just taints the new stuff. Maybe in a few miles Lee, see if your new fluid is still that lovely luminous pink colour.

I've got some sat in the shed ready to do mine.

Well when I pumped it all through eventually the new stuff was being pumped through so I assume the entire system was cleared out.

I will keep an eye on it though as suggested, Stew

And Dwain - I'll prob have that cooler off you

Inner diameter 10mm

Outer diameter 16mm

Fuel Hose works great if you need some.

Sorry to hijack: but how do you change the fluid for this? And what do I use and how can I tell if it needs a change?
