Not technically a performance mod, but hey.

I've grown increasingly fond of mudflaps after seeing white ones on a white ST, and am now thinking of ordering some...

Question is, what's the difference between these two sets? Like why are they a different shape haha

Am I missing something?

first link are all rears !

Ford only make flaps for standard Fez as ST side skirts get in the way.

This might sound like a really stupid question but are mudflaps a modification and are required to be declared for insurance? I don't want to sound idiotic on the phone if I rung up.

Everything you do to your car, that wasn't on the vehicle when it was released from the factory, ie not replacing but additional parts, is considered a modification and requires declaring to your imsurance company. This includes stickers :/

In short, yes.

Wrong.

Mudflaps are not classed as a modification with admiral

Definitely tell them. Always better to be safe. They might see it as a cosmetic thing but technically they should help towards stopping stone chips etc too. Just depends how picky your insurer is...

Took the woman 5 minutes but she finally came back and told me they were not classed as a modifcation and did not need adding to the insurance.

I doubt my insurance will care about flaps, seeing as they won't charge at all for performance mods (except a turbo)

Why would they do this? Haha, doesn't make sense to me. Should I definitely avoid them then?

What classes as slammed? As I'm going for the Eibach "extra lows" but nothing ridiculous...
And is this set the one to go for then?

I presume you are talking about the one syou are getting from me? If so they are not the extra low ones they are just the standard ones. But if you look in the avatar that is how low it drops the car.

35mm is plenty mate. I know what my car feels like driving on some of the roads around here - I followed Tez the other night in Fleetwood and didn't even want to think what his car must feel like
