hey i've never really posted on here so i'd thought i'd say hello and please help me lol.

my problem is i want to fit an alpine head unit to my face lift FezST.
i have a gen 2 sony head unit that works fine but when i unplug and test the plug that is cuming out of the dash there is no power, so i have no power to my new wire harness, then the alpine unit. i've been to halfords and they say they don't know why it won't work.

has any fitted an after market unit to a face lift mk6 that used the sony head unit, plz help me

Not sure tbh have you made sure the ignition is on when you test the new head unit?
