Just thinking, if its on a Sunday. Now wasn't it meant to be happenning in the evening when the illuminations are on? If it is then the first Sunday in September in when Trax is taking place (a MASSIVE car show at Silverstone for those that don't know). I just think it would be great if we could maybe organise it to try and get people to go down to Trax for a site stand, and then for everyone to convoy up together to Blackpool in the evening, now that would be great I think.

If people do wish to go to trax i will book a stand in the middle of the circuit. It's advance payments for this though so we shall need to short that out.

got a hockey tournament on that weekend! Forgot about it...

does it have to be the first night of the lights cos it would be super busy, stuck in traffic, getting split up etc, no where to park. we could just make it any weekend day, it dont have to be the first does it? we could make a day of it perhaps, go to the pleasure beach or something? we'd get group discount if there was enough of us?

Sure we can do something, less busy time is obviously better.

I've got to be honest, I think the answer is going to be no here. With myself and the rest of the team being really busy, both here and elsewhere, over the past few months it has just totally slipped our minds about this, and all I can do is apologise about that.

The problem now is that at this stage, theres obviously Donington this weekend, which just leaves 2 more weekends (one of which I myself wouldn't be able to make anyways) and I just don't think it would be practical to organise something at such short notice.

All I can really do is say sorry again, and perhaps we could look at going there for a mini-event at Easter next year maybe (provided I remember ). I know the illuminations won't be on then, but the Pleasure Beach will be open.
