Hi cheers for the welcomes everyone, I'm from Rochdale (greater manchester)
Yeah i agree its my favourite colour and its the only one i found for sale with no stripes so i paid about 500 quid over the odds for it but i just like the car..
Future plans are to make it a lot faster because its slow as s**t.
My previous car was a peugoet 106 gti with 150bhp. little track car, but i wanted something i can use on the roads with a bit more comfort. the only downside to this st is its really slow, and i miss the sound of the pug.
But apart from that i absolutely love the car its brilliant.

i wouldnt say its a slow car as standard, more that you just have to work it hard

Its got a bit more low down torque but when it gets to 4k theres absolutely nothing there, i'm just used to my peugeot, the high lift cams used to kick in at 4k all the way to 7800rpm, so was lots of fun in a 800kg car I've researched all these mountune things... are they really that good? because exhaust induction and a remap gets you 165 bhp?.. i think there is a lot more power to be got out of them through the mapping? do mountune set them at 165bhp through the mapping so your tempted to spend more? Look at stuff like hondas.. there 2ltr and there 200bhp standard, same with clio sports.

I'm definatly going to use an induction kit on it, the induction on the st looks really restrictive especially with the tiny air filter, i'm going to see if the BMC off my peugeot will fit before i sell it, do a trial of it.
I still can't understand how induction, exhaust, cams and remap only make about 185 on these engines, i think there is more to give from them.
