Running in my at mo, so far up to 650 miles.
Just wondered if eveyone had kept to the book of waiting for 1000 miles
before giving the full beans?
Getting impatient now

It's a touchy subject init. I mean how can you not put your foot down? What did we pay all that money for. should run them in for us, then reset the clock, and guarantee it all for 4 years instead of the 3 years.

froma mechanics point of view...and this is my own opinion, i think it would be better to slowy increase the revs after 500miles.

otherwise you engine will get a shock if you was to feckin floor it after only cruising around. no what i mean?

It's not gunna break your back, but the more the revs climb it picks up speed very quickly!
3rd gear seems Very able, 4th gear picks up nicely after that!
Sounds agressive too, I cant wait to hit the redline through the gears!

Havent done anything in 1st gear yet! Isnt much point in revin it alittle bit!

That's what I did, now up to 2800 miles and she's a real screamer.
I notice that when pushing it a bit she started using more oil.
