Does anyone have one fitted? Is it worth it?

Reason I ask is because my old focus had uprated ones and it had no roll what so ever and I kind of miss that with the Fiesta.

andy (Kaxe) had one fitted and reccomends one i've never fitted one or considered it.

main reason considering the design of the rear suspension and axle i can't see where connecting a rod from axle to axle it can help reduce flexibility only to strengthen it in the even you go side ways into a tree or curb to prevent axle snapping.

An anti roll bar is not designed to reduce flexibility between the suspension. That is what a strut brace is for. The ARB is used to link the suspension so that what happens on one side is mirrored to an extent on the other.

When cornering, the pressure on the outside edge is transferred to the inside more effectively pushing the car down on the inside edge (and thus causing less roll).

This is why you can get ARB's of different thicknesses and flexibilities to transfer different amounts of pressure depending on preference.

The only complaint i've ever heard of an ARB on an ST is that it can make the back end whip suddenly when cornering. No idea if this is valid or not.

Tightened up the back 100% better. Reduced roll etc

Ahhh i see surely one with out is better a little body roll at the back actualy vital for grip, having none at the front is good as it reduces understeer.

You'd think that but when Ben from JS took me out in my own supercharged 328bhp and went round a roundabout at 60 full throttle my god it was excellent how the back end had no bunny hop or body roll at all. I was stunned at how a piece of metal bar could improve grip like that on these little cars
If I were to try that in my now the back end would bunny hop out as it has done when I wasn't even pushing it lol

I had one with a strut brace and all I did was go straight but since taking it off I love it! I throw it all over the place.

The feel is hard to explain, imagine the whole car 'rolling' on a corner, no imagine it satying flatter but still with a little roll at the front...or something like that

Get one if you can get it cheap. Mine was cheap so snapped it up

And yes the strut is gone and I am just left with the rarb, imo the two don't work together the car goes a bit too rigid for my liking

I don't want anything to rigid as my Focus was pretty much un-useable on any road due to the suspension being solid and don't really want to make the same mistake with the fiesta, just want something to kill the bit of roll I get.

What size one have you got 22 or 24mm?

i have been looking into removing my front one not adding more on a fixed beam rear suspension i think personally your wasting your money

Mmm maybe its something to consider a bit more but I'm swaying towards not buying one now and hoping the Mountune coil overs and 20mm spacers will be enough to make it feel planted on the track.
