How do you tell.if your suspension springs snapped? I was driving a long and a lump of spring flipped up onto.the.bonnet but I'm not sure if it came off the car or if I hit it on the road

it would be quite obvious to tell if you've snapped a spring in all fairness gary, for one it would knock quite alot when going over bumps, plus you should be able to visually compare the springs.

If its leaning to the right, could also be your bush gone on that side?

Could be, but if you do get them all round (but your looking at 160) and get them on when your fitting your eibachs. And when you want to borrow the spring compressors?

No damage to your bodywork or anything???

It doesn't sound like something you'd wanna hit

Definately not. Any spring up in the engine and could easily pierce a hole then bigger mishaps.

It hit and.bounced off the top of my bonnet but cant really see or get under the car at the coz of the rain. It was like it just flicked up on the air from the from the road bounced accross the bonnet from the drivers side all the way to the passenger side. Then had some grumpy women giving me hassle because I'd stopped to see what it was
