Helloooo guy's n' gals Had my MP165 on for a meager 3 months or so now.... had loadsa fun n' still lovin it! Now enuff chitty chatty stuff I am seriously thinking of joining the MR200 club ..... but still thinking!!! I have a couple of points that need clearing up and if the "folks that know" could help that would be great!! ok here goes My ,apart from the 165 upgrade,is standard. So my first question is would the car require further upgrades to the braking system or can the standard brakes handle the MR200 upgrade? My second question regards the dreaded fuel M.P.G. obviously if driven hard it likes to drink but if driven normally-ish lol what would be a realistic average M.P.G. be from the MR200? My third and final question, if I do have the MR200 upgrade would I need to install a toilet roll holder for unsuspecting passengers?

Can't answer any of your questions, but if you did get it, I would probably be cheeky and ask to come down for a passenger ride?

1.standard brakes are more than up for the job of MR200. Mine are factory brakes from new, still !

2. 8 miles each way to work, lots of stop starts, all 30mph apart from, one mile 40mph, 1.5 miles 50mph, no revving, all short shifting, 31.2mpg.

3. maybe when you let it run in 3rd

this is how I would rate MPG, first being best:-

1.165
2.standard
3.200
4. 185

standard brakes are up to the job as long as you dont track it

the mpg is fantastic on my journey to my old work of 30 miles each was cruising at 70mph i saw 30-35 most days, as for booting it, round brands hatch i used a full tank in 116miles 11mpg

and trouser accidents are common, just ask tom when i took him out for a spin

You might be better shopping around with your insurance fella. I know one company, green flag? The premium there doesnt go up with any of the Mountune kits!

@Midzy I have had bad experiences with local mountune pro dealers when I was looking to have my 165 fitted, Jacksons ford henley being one of them Although Evans halshaw blackpool have a good rep with the guy's on here the distance I would have to travel to them sort of equals the distance to MT HQ.Had my 165 fitted at MT HQ the level of service and quality of workmanship was fantastic so I feel much more confident returning there if this upgrade goes ahead. Thanks anyway m8
