When I was at MTHQ having the upgrade done I asked politely if it was possible to purchase an extra MR badge as I thought it might look cool to have one on each wing of the car Absolutely most definately NOT possible I was told

Might be to stop everyone and their dog getting one (perhaps he thought you might give it someone else?), so it remains exclusive? Not sure.

Yes It's to op just anybody having one. I was advised that they get lots of phone calls from people who have purchased an , etc sporting a mountune/mr badge thinking it has an upgrade on it and ask MTHQ what upgrade is on the car only to be told there is none as they have no record of the vehicle on their system.......can kinda see their point otherwise we would have lots of fiesta's/focus's sporting the exclusive mountune/mr badge driven by dreamers

Does that mean if it falls off you can't have a replacement though?

Not 100% but apparently it is very difficult to obtain a replacement have read a few articles around that people have tried after losing one or having one stolen and not succeeded

BUT people have 'Powered by Cosworth' badges when they have parts from the manufacturer so I think that means I should be entitled to one when I have the MT inlet fitted

the badge relates to a Kit not a part.
