middle of may/June If I remember right.......was due the upgrade Tuesday last week but MTHQ cancelled it,they were going to do it this Friday but the next date I had available was 9th July

Does your throttle body have a small black and red plug that's not used and just hangs loose?

yes, it is not required, it should be taped up securely out of the way, think might be wrong but it controlled the internal throttle in the plastic one, the IE4 does not have an internal throttle.

Still a bit harsh if you've ordered yours much earlier, albeit at a pro dealer...
