I wondered if they were gettin done quicker at HQ...

Still a bit harsh if you've ordered yours much earlier, albeit at a pro dealer...

Mine has also been ordered at a pro dealer, 50% deposit paid 08/03/12. I know that they have been chasing up Mountune with no luck. The dates they are told come and go with nothing from Mountune. Sky Ford have even offered to refund me as they are getting frustrated with it ... they tell me that Mountune are having a problem calibrating the inlets.

That's definitely true but they've started to come through now. Guys on here are starting to have the MR200 fitted again and I had an email from them promising to send me my inlet next week... They're obviously looking after customers that are paying them directly for fitting rather than those who are payinga Ford dealer to do it, regardless of when the order was placed

I would never go to main dealer after the donkeys screwed up my MR185.

I had such a great response and after care from the guys at HQ the car will always go back to them. Sorry, but from personal experience main dealers are only good for a service or oil change. That's about the limit of their expertise.

Glad I'm going to Jamsport with my inlet then

(though I've even heard the odd bad story about them )

does depend on the dealer, quality of their mechanics and experience, mine is a Pro dealer and does the lot, from 165 to RS kits.

there are no problems with calibration.
The only issue they sometimes have, is, they are often short staffed with shows and their racing side of the business, sometimes this leads to less staff to do the upload calibrations.
The inlets from the factory have to be "finished" and if they are not upto Mountune's standards they will either send them back or finish them themselves, they will not release them unless the standard is high enough.

That's the actual reason. I thought that was what was kind of meant before. It's to do with the finishing according to MT's Facebook site as Steve said.

Does 6.8 sound correct to 200 owners? The 165 is published at 7.1 so doesn't seem much bigger gain

I think it's the 0-100 time that improves a lot

you require large bhp increases for little 0-60 gains, I reckon 6.8 is achievable, it will do 60+ in 2nd and 90 in 3rd so 0-100 will be quicker for certain.
I have more fun listening to the inlet in 3rd at 15mph and bye bye to anyone behind. grouuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
