Can anyone point me in the direction of some "longer lasting" tyres for my Put a brand new set of pirelli's on last april and by no means do I drive my car hard all the time the front two are on the limiters once again At £90.00 a piece I expect longer than a year with normal driving and less than average mileage. Am I just being unreasonable or are there better tyres out there??

thanks in advance for any help folks!!!

Yup mine didn't last and I hardly did any miles lol and no I don't wheel spin or a handbrake lover!
I moved on to Toyo t1r good in wet good in dry and lasted me a while with loads of life left!
Although continatals sports 3 have been really good too
Just my penny's worth!

I've got avons on the front and theyve lasted over a year now and I've also got some.kumho ku1 on the back. They look a bit like the p zeros but were only 65 from e tyres. They grip pretty well as well

Had Goodyear Eagle F1's on the car when I bought it.Really liked them both on wet and dry. Think they're a bit expensive. Now I have some nankang tires(don't remember the model). They're a lot cheaper than the goodyear's but think they're good tires to be so much cheaper.

I'm using Falken FK452's at the moment which are pretty good, not as good as the Toyo T1R's I had on my last car though.

The Toyo's are TERRIBLE in the snow but very good in the wet which is odd.

Uniroyal Rainsport 2's are worth considering if you drive a lot in the rain (this is England, who doesn't?)

My Toyo's were brilliant in the snow and dry, you had to be gentle in the rain but they could hold very well if you didnt chuck it straight in there

Avons ftw! great in the dry decent in wet and snow and last well over a year (done over 12,000 miles on mine now and still got 5mm all round)

AND they were cheapest of the '3 main ones' mentioned above at only £65 a corner WITH fitting

Thanks guy's and gals you've been a great help I think I'll try the Avon ZZ3's as suggested this time around and see how they go. Just not happy with the lifespan of the pirelli, plus I found them a tad slippy in the wet/damp conditions I must say what a great forum this is.There are lots of helpful people on here who really do know their stuff top bunch and thanks again!

Going to be honest, I've put Proxes on my car and I'm not feeling the love. My cheaper Kumho's were better...
