Avon ZZ3 are great tyres in both wet and dry, have an amazing tyre pattern and at only £62 a corner from camskill, you just cant go wrong!

P.s I cant comment on their life expectancy as Ive only owned mine since February, but still going strong!

The Avon ZZ3's lasted about the same time on my car as the PZero's that came with, the difference being that the Avon's kept gripping until the last mm.
They are great on damp roads too and lots of grip in the corners. For the price, they must be the best on the market.

eh ! You won't find a harder longer lasting tyre than PZero, my front toyo are (according to ford - but I have 50bhp more now ) lasting half the PZero but at least I can get away without any judder with these.
Might try Uiroyal Rainsport 2 next as appear to be even better than Toyo around.

yes, point made to me by Simon S at Evans, even though I don't hammer off the lights and tear around bends etc, whenever I use that extra torque/power it's the tyres that take the strain.

Last week I had an offer I could not refuse for 2 Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres So, quick to spot a bargain I snapped them up and had them fitted at my local tyre centre These tyres have made the ride smoother and seem to have more grip about them in the dry than my old pirellis This morning it was raining so gave it a little more than I should pulling out of junctions and acellerating on the straight and have to say I was quite impressed by the performance/grip in the wet too. They also come with a handy rim protector on the tyre wall.As for tread wear I can not comment as only had them on a few days but will report back on that. Downside to these tyres are they retail at around £120 each as a rule but mine were some what cheaper so I shall enjoy while I can

I'm using Falken FK452's at the moment which are pretty good, not as good as the Toyo T1R's I had on my last car though.

The Toyo's are TERRIBLE in the snow but very good in the wet which is odd.

Uniroyal Rainsport 2's are worth considering if you drive a lot in the rain (this is England, who doesn't?)

I'veGot a uni royal rainsport 2 part worn on the front and it seems to be doing alright

Quick update on tread wear/performance - Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres.
Fitted to front of vehicle (MR200) 31/07/2012 - 25100 miles
Check on tread wear today 15/06/2013 - 30034 miles

Tread depth new = 8mm
Tread depth today = 5.5 mm
Total miles = 4934 (11 months)
Normal driving

Overall I am impressed with these tyres good ride quality, good grip in both wet or dry conditions and tread wear Is acceptable as opposed to Pirelli nero zero.
At my last service, end of April 2013, I had the 2 remaining Pirelli tyres from the rear of the car transferred to the front so I could wear them out and replace them .....The result in handling of the car was frightening!!!
I immediately replaced them for 2 more Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres.I now have them all round on the car... much happier and safer for it

something I would never do, yep can imagine. I would guess (for those that wish to save money and rightly so, rears rarely wear much), then you would have to keep them on and run them in to match what the front of the car wants from them.
