Conservative when it comes to modding cars? Do the words "Rally" & "Slag" mean anything to you... although I *could* be pulled up on a technicality there *hehehe* but still you know what I mean!

I dont think I would have spent nearly £2K on my car already if I was "conservative" or spent months looking for and phoning exhaust manufacturers & finally got a system going to be made by the people that make the exhausts for the A1 GP (Lola) cars.

So ner.

You must know what i mean pinky

You might have made a lot of changes to your car but they are subtle, You never talk of fitting body kits and so on

ST_GTR is into a different kind of mods to most people on this site, thats the point i was making

Erm, you mean you you paid for an exhaust system but don't know what you paid for!! Any chance you could find out, they may have put something quite special together, however it sounds like it's probably just a new back box.
I'm just curious to see what ford do, as I presume any work they have done will still be covered by the warranty.

Haha, never thought of a few of those things, lads. Dunno why it never crossed my mind, i just know it sounds better than the rally cars on that recent post in 'General Discussion', u know that vid someone posted.

I was out on the cruise last night, and omg, for those like me and Bish (The show offs), the lads and girls never stopped looking. One lad who i knew kept saying 'how the f*ck did you get that car'. I've never been so proud of anything i've owned.

And also, the car sounded alot like the beefy sound of the Cosworths that were out and the Rs500, obviously missing the turbo sound though.

I will ring as soon as i get a chance about the exhaust Gareth, i know your just dying to know

Actually, i've been thinking that lately too. Really tempted with the focus st, or maybe even the new civic type R cos that looks a mighty beast too, but prob wont be able to afford anything like that for a year or two. Not exactly a hardship tho having my ST on the drive

Well you gotta have a plan aint ya!

And Chris, the new civic type r's are something else Im seriosuly thinking about on of them. OR a scooby. Id prefer the Mitzi Evo but they cost so much to run/maintain compared with the scooby.

Well i love my new cars, so a new evo or scooby is a tad bit outta my price range I have to say tho you're right the new type R does look stunning, but the focus ST is prob more economical and is a great chassis. Just have to see i guess

Nothing like getting a brand new car, I love my hatch backs so I wouldnt really look at scoobys and
evo, but they are impressive machines with soooo much pace and grip being a passinger if enough for me at the mo! Silly fast!!!!!
