all this opposite pin and offset pin is for the front indicators
Steve wants rear indicators and i'm pretty sure they are the same for pre facelift and facelift, 581 (py21w)

Nope, the rears are DEFINITELY different. I gave a set that wouldn't fit mine to someone who had a pre-facelift at FITP

can't find any info on Ford Parts site, the whole lamp units don't come with bulbs.

Various car bulb sites aren't clear while tells you the correct bulb doesn't state whether offset or opposite, I will go to ford and find out, looking like the offset ones.

Facelift can take either offset or opposite pin bulbs.

Well mine couldn't!!!

finally took my rear cluster out to have a nosy, Yes your correct holder will take either, mine had offset bulbs in it. The orange was flakin off but this was only a layer and the bulb was still fully orange !
Cluster was hard to pull off, I used a cloth, squeezed it behind and around and used it as a noose to pull it off the peg holders, then greased these up before putting back, gave it all a clean behind too. Shame the main loom doesn't unplug so you can be hands free, means you have to unplug out every bulb.
Will be ordering my bulbs now.

The orange on mine were flaking off too. As I have a Blue ST I got the Osram Diadem bulbs
