Portugal did have decent go, although Spain were coming on stronger in extra time. Overall not the best of games though. Portugal also showed again the danger of leaving who you think's the best penalty taker until last - there's no guarantee you'll get that far.

So Spain in the final..... Only conceded one goal on the way and their 3rd final in a row at major competitions.

I won't read through all of the thread, but so pleased for Spain and want them to win. I managed to watch all of the England games and was disgusted in many ways. Also bewildered by the choice of penalty takers, but haven't had the opportunity to catch up the British press coverage. Here's hoping Germany are thrashed.

Yeah chris they played pretty good in the first 90mins then spain were fab fair play to them. Suprised they didnt score all the chances they had.
