Hi all!

Im Rob, im 20 and im from Birmingham, near Solihull

Right... well, I was told by my dealer that i was the first person to place an order for the ST through the Brooklyn dealer group. im using the Redditch dealer as its an RS dealer, also becuase my mates from the FRSOCC.com and FRSOC.co.uk sites have highly recommended them..also i chose Dan Peever to process my order. Great bloke and cant do enough for you..so top marks to Dan

Anyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyway, Mine is hopefully going to be:

*performance blue
*Interior styling pack (looks mint with the stripes running down where the radio/cd player is)
*Reflex pack
*Blue seats

And i didnt know if i should have the top and door stripes, so i didnt have any at first, but i dont know if i have left it too late to add them to my order.. but if the car comes without..i know someone who can do the same stripes (he is contracted to do the stripes and decals on the new mini), but I wouldnt have them in white, maybe a silver???

Views please

Hello ST fans! Just wondering if any of you out there have managed to secure any discount on your car and if anyone has gone through the 'drivethedeal' website. I had a look the other day and got it down to 12433 ish!! That was for metallic paint and interior pack which makes it nearly 1500 cheaper. Thats huge but dont know what their reputation is like, please let us know.

We'd call that cold here mate!

I think the average in southern UK's about 8-10 celsius in the winter.

When I was in Helsinki a few years ago in October I thought it was bloody freezing!

Ordered on: 07/01/05
Colour: performance blue
Options: ESP, 17" alloys and the heated window and 5 years free warranty
Price 14.512,40€ = 10,127.84pounds

i think i have the lowest price so far. had a lot of discounts, 3000€ (2,093.68 pound) because an uncle of mine worked at ford and another 850€ (593.21pound) because of the big car show in belgium, also the reason for that 5 year free warranty

Mmm, you got the ford workers reductioin (dunno how it's called exactly).. don't you need to work at ford yourself for that AND have the car for 6 months registered to that Ford employe? Some very good friends off my brother also work at Ford so if the car after all doesn't need to be registered to that person well..

Btw, I got quoted 14605 EUR for a basic metalic version myself.
