Just been looking about for the 60mm throttle body for the ST.

i know if i want to buy it from frauds its some silly amount of moneys ~£270 but heard rumours of other models fitting like a glove... example mondeo, S-max, focus etc.

has anyone actually done this or is it best to not risk it? i really want this mod but proving costly for what it is lol?

Adam the 60mm TB is from a 2.3 duratec engine and is generic to the 2.3 engines there isn't a specially made one im aware from ford for the ST it's the S-max throttle body that fits which is identical but noticeably different from the larger bore.

i currently have one fitted to my ST now, i paid £60 through garage discounts only because i managed to grab mine before the 'gold rush' to buy them and now Ford have ramped up the prices.

i would recommend one but not unless your are going further then a K&N filter and intend on cams, exhaust and mapping. This is something I'd get last considering the price.

Hens teeth to see one under about £200 new, 2nd hand you're looking at a price not that far off again!

Yeah i figured the price of these have been ramped up for some reason..just trying to see if i can find a nieve breakers yard

And im looking at getting flexi and full cat back but after my recent new gearbox repair im kinda taking the spending easy so one thing at a time lol!
