I have used wonder wheels a couple of times with no issues. One thing I found works really well on motorbike wheels is those industrial hand wipes they come in a big yellow tub and are called big wipes

Auto Finesse Imperial

Use it on quite a few details and continues to impress me.

I now use Bilberry, fantastic stuff, however I only ever use it for the rear of the wheel where it's much harder to clean, the face of the wheel is just soapy water and sponge only - ever.
I just light spray the bilberry (weak solution) at the back and use a Megs wheel brush together with a bucket of soapy water, each week it cleans them up nicely.

Bilberry is great, also look at Autobrite Very Cherry, it's slightly cheaper than bilberry and gives great results too
One thing is definitely buy from an online shop, halfords are usually a rip off and they don't supply the greatest stock, some of it is good, but for the "proper" cleaning stuff, you can't beat online =]

Since I put the C5 gteckniq seal on my wheels, they just wipe clean with warm water. Cannot recommend it enough!

Another vote for Bilberry. It's amazing stuff!

I would keep away from wonder wheels and similar products. They are basically acid and eat at the lacqure on your wheels.

Get your self some wheel woolies. They have a really long handle and come in set of three. Bit expnesive i know but you will never need to buy another crappy brush when the handle pops off.

The big one does most wheels and looks like a bog brush
