yes my seats are always clean so unlikely would bring anything off, It could have been just orange water with a drop of fairy liquid in it.
Think you have to be careful with products that we get convinced into purchasing (for anything really) some work some don't.
I can very much recommend soap flakes, drop a few in a bucket of warm water, mix it up, can lightly wash anything with these, leather, seats themselves too, foams up so as not to do any damage when working it, cheap as chips.
