Great news, got a phone call from my dealer last week when I was on holiday, who said that my ST was ready. So as of yesterday I am the proud owner of anew ST in Performance blue!!!

Took it for a spin yesterday and I'm still grinning like a cheshire cat today!

Well I decided to join this very friendly forum as after a long few day's scratching my head on which new car to buy I have eventually opted for the ST. Reading everyone post they all seem to enjoy having one so hopefully I should be pleased with mine.

The spec I got is

Black Panther in colour, full leather which is the ebony haze leather, ESP, Tech Pack, Bluetooth, Priv Glass including rear park censors. Everyting else that is standard with them only done 2444 for £9500. I had a look round and this one from Ford Direct seemed about the best price.

Just got to do the long wait of 2 weeks ggrrr.. ah hopefully the wait will be paid off by a nice car.

Thanks Iceman. Its on a 57 plate. I did a bit of bargain chat between two garages and thought I could not let that one go for the price he eventually came down to and that was without a part ex... I think it is one of their demo ones but still a good price I thought.

Hi, and welcome to the site, I've had mine a while now and I'm still really pleased with it. I would avoid heavy modding if its newish, they dont need much doing to em cos they're nippy enough!

The only mod I've had done was lowered and a new stereo put in, looks nice and sounds even better!

Ric - Thanks for the advise and nooo I don't think I would want to do any modding yet. My other half is big into stereo's and my current car has some cool stuff in and I am sure when I get my new one that will be done out for sound.... I caught him last night already looking at what stuff he can put in ha ha..!!.. Must admit though I don't mind as its ace to have a nice stereo and speaker system..!!
