Yeah, that can work as long as you're careful not to damage the piston or send it back in at an angle and jam it. Also, it won't work on cars where the piston actually needs to be twisted as it goes back in. I don't think ours do though.

No twisting of piston required! mine were forced in with various sized hole punches and a hammer

i knew the pistons didnt need twisting, we dont own awkward cars

well this was all going well i got one side done without trouble then when inn got to the other i rounded off the bolt on the carrier so dont know what to do. Even worse i had to still put the new pads in as i had to break the old ones to get themo off
