Hi
Good to see that there is a website only for this kind of car, the Norwegian web site is completely rubbish, where they don`t appreciate this car!

This is mye first Fiesta ST, back in 2008. It had the Pumaspeed 190kit, lowered 30mm, Ramsport brakes etc..

And this is the ST i bought in May, I put on OZ Leggenda 17" rims, H&R springs, tinted the windows.

I am thinking about buying the 182 kit for this car, and then cams and so on, but I know that Montune also have tuning options for this car. Is there something else that you would recommend than Pumaspeed?

Sorry if my English is bad!

Alexander

Thank you for a warm welcome

I looked through the Montune site now, maybe I`m blind, but I can`t find the 165 or 185 kit for my car. Do I have to contact them by mail?
Do you know if there are any other kits to get more bhp?

welcome along, plenty of overseas members here.
I have had all three mountune kits now, can't be faulted.
Do you have Ford Mountune dealers over there though to get the kits fitted ?

No, that`s the problem, I don`t have any dealers nearby, so they have to ship it. I work at a car dealer, so I think there will be no problem fitting it.

I am just not sure if I should go for Pumaspeed or Mountune!

When you say maps, you mean like a Dreamscience box or something like that?
So this is not something I can fit myself, it has to be Mountune HQ or a Mountune dealer?

Velkommen skal du være
This is a brilliant site to get tips and advice about the Fiesta, and all the members are very friendly too. Compared to other sites where people are ready to burn you and tell you how stupid you are if you asks about something :P

you will have to speak to Mountune very nicely, I doubt though they will allow the kit to fitted other than by a Ford approved dealer, if they do, then you will also have to ship your ECU direct to Mountune for the upload of the new settings. Ford approved dealers have access through the ford Etis Computer to upload straight onto the car, the only other method is for mountune to bench flash the ECU themselves, this would be for 165/185.
You can also explain on the Mountune Facebook page they will reply quickly but if you have already Emailed them, let us know what they say.

I got a reply from them now, saying that I have to bring the car over to England, since they don`t have any dealers nearby who can fit this, so I think I`ll pass on Mountune, and probably go for the Pumaspeed 182 kit and som Cosworth cams maybe.

or maybe check if they have any dealers near the border in sweden/denmark/germany?. so they just ship all the parts there and you can drive there with your car.

That can be an option, but I still think it will be a lot more expensive than just buying the PS182 kit and fit it myself. Is your car standard or have you modified yours Oyvind? Are you using the FMCN forum?

Yes my nick on fmcn is Fordxr4x4. Rarely writes anything there, but I use to look in the sale section. Have the same experience as you, that it's mostly knowledge about cosworths and older fords not St.
Have an k&n 57i filter and a milltek flexi on my Fiesta. Wants more power but are currently without my driving license, and also have more important things to spend my money on. So I think it will be the only mods for a long time. Saw your car for sale on Finn some days ago, planning to sell it or just checking the market?

Ok, then I have seen you there before. My nick is fiesta05 in that forum. But I am done with that forum, it`s not a Ford Form, it`s a Cosworth forum in my eyes, everything has to be about Cosworth, they still love these cars so much, I just can`t understand it, but that is probably because I`ve never owned one
How long are you without your license? No, I was just checking the market, and see if there was anyone interested out there

I want a cossie to. But that have to be another day when I can afford a car just for the fun of it. Like the old cars from my childhood.

I can take my driving test again in the middle of March 2013. Not sure about the theory test. Hope I can take that during the winter. So I can get my license back as soon as possible.

Did you have the 182 kit from Pumaspeed or the Mountune 185 kit? I was very happy with the Pumaspeed kit, but I haven`t tried out the cams, is there a very big difference?

you will loose some low down pull with cams, unless you also have an IE4 inlet

Ok, so you would rather choose the one from Mountune instead of the Cosworth inlet?
