I've recently joined another Internet forum and have noticed that whenever I post up pics, whatever the size, they always display the same size in the post.

If there is a way of defaulting pic sizes I just thought it would be less hassle for the mods and we all wouldn't have to worry about the pics we post. Plus it would likely stop the huge avatar issue too?

It doesn't bother me that we don't have it, just thought it might save the mods having to manually resize things all the time

It isn't something that can be done on here due to the old software used. TBH it isn't something that bothers me as I manually upload everyones images onto the sites Photobucket account anyways. I do this as past experience showed that the majority of people either delete or move their photos eventually - or sometimes even after only a few weeks - and then you end up with the dreaded red cross/this image has been deleted message, spoling old posts when you're looking for stuff.

Ah ok, so if I tidy my own photobucket account up into folders all my pics on here will still be ok then?

Just make sure you give Chris time to move them to the site photobucket account. It won't work if you upload an image, link to it on here, then immediately delete it from your own account.

I am not 100% sure how this forum works but on mine (I believe the one that has been mentioned with the auto image resizing).

It was a very simple piece of code that needed to be added to a certain page.

I know this is a different software but it is still made using php so little idea for you is try this

Jesus, I never thought of that. That's such a simple thing too. I currently have an easy_resizer.html file called on the viewtopic page instead.

Theres loads you can do with php that is simple as im learning now!
