21 and been looking to upgrade my current car (Corsa D 1.2) to something a bit nippier.

I don't use my car as a daily driver as I have a work van, so thought I'd get something to have a bit of fun in and enjoy to drive, was looking at all sorts of stuff like Nissan 350z but only 2 seats, then Alfa Romeo Breras and VW Sciroccos then started thinking why on earth spend :censored: loads of money when I could probably find something cheaper and just as much fun.

Then,I stumbled across the Fiesta ST, I didn't realise how cheap you can pick up a good quality second hand one for!
Got an insurance quote and pretty sure I'm gona be going for ones of these when my insurance runs out.

So thought I'd sign up to see what problems I need to look out for when buying second hand and just find out a bit more about the cars.

I was 18 when I bought my Fiesta ST, and can definitely say it was a lot quicker than my 1L corsa

what colour/combo are you leaning towards????

Tbh there isn't one I'm particularly pulled towards as I like them in all the colours, which I guess is gona make it easier when I get it cos I won't be restricted to what I want

I quite like the look of the ST500, although I think the black alloys make the arch gap look larger then the silver alloys make it look IMO, but would be nice to have something that was a limited amount, also has a nice interior.

If its red, would like the red half leather interior.

Any other colour would prefer full leather but not overly fussed.

Not to sure about stripes yet though, I do like the blue with white stripes, think the blue doesn't look as good without them, but think the red/black ones look good without them.

Also, looking at the facelift models as I prefer the headlight cluster more, not to sure on what optional extras come with them so not to sure what to look out for, but have noticed quite a few with Sony HU so assume that was an extra.

Also, got to go for a completely un-modified one as the best insurance quote I've got (By a HUGE amount) says no modifications.

try and get one with mods already on will save you a fortune imo, ie mountune etc
