as title says i want to remove the whole ford badge on front and rear so i can spray them so there is no more silver!! (sorry if this been posted before)

so how would i go about doing the above???

Take the front grill off then u will see 2 clips on the back of the badge part remove these, if the badge doesnt come off easy heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun then slide a knife up the gap thats how i did it, not tryed doing the back yet but am guessing its same kind of thing

I'm sure I wrote about the rear badge on here somewhere...

the rear is stuck on with some really good strong sticky stuff

there are two 'prongs' that go into the bodywork like the front badge, but they don't have the metal clips.

you will need the remove the boot internal cover (3 screws and then just pull, the rest is on clips)
then from inside the boot you can push out the badge. It really needs a lot of force though.

With the rear badge you need use something long to get at the prongs..Something like this is perfect as you can enclose the prong in the end section and just push the badge out..

I just used a screwdriver as it's all I had at the time.

I would recommend something with a flat end, or hollow as Mr Lego suggests (sorry dont remember your name dude) so you don't damage the prongs too much.

Sorry for some reason I was thinking of you taking the rear badge of and replacing it with a new one ...but saying that, the prongs on the rear badge are very strong and should not bend or break of as my old badge is still in one piece..

This for me, but I used pliers to grip and push and loosened it by 'sawing' at it all round with dental floss first. Made it soo much easier with the floss
