My bonnet is stuck again and that the second time in less than 3 weeks I try to pull the handle but it seem to be stuck again. Last time I went to the garage they didn't find anything wrong but I didn't believe them. Its happen today again does any one have the same problem?

Grease the mechanism, salt and road muck sprays into there from the grille and seizes it.

I had the opposite problem, my bonnet would not click shut properly as mechanism had seized. Assuming u can actually open it to do it...spray with shed loads of WD40.

this is an extremely common problem on mk6 fiesta's. hope u get it sorted.

If it gets stuck down get someone to fully pull the release handle while you give the bonnet a gentle tug open.

mine wont shut either sometimes. you really have to slam it!!

I had this problem on my fiesta. not but still had the problem. I got the AA out who gave it a greese up
