are these any good, was browsing the ESP website and noticed it Clicky Me Now!!! . and while we are on the subject of ESP Design, if you tell them about this website we may be eliigble for a discount when we shop there. (i dont know if it costs an initial fee or anything, its just a gimik to get us all to shop there obviously) www.espdesign.co.uk

I don't know anyone who has one, looks good but I'd rather have a K&N as it's a proven filter.

anyone whos in the know - does this just replace the standard airbox i have or do i have to fart on with other pipes and the like - i'm not sure from the description?

You'll need to get some silicon hose to mount the new filter, then it just replaces the standard airbox. It really is an easy job to do.

here's a pic of Pinkys with her K&N installed, the larges blue hose is what you'tt need to get.the thinner hose should come with the K&N (in black tho)



Not sure whether the Powertec has a breather connection (for the thinner hose), if not you'll need an additional crankcase breather filter (I have one of these), which simply bolts on. I have the Pipercross Viper induction kit, I'll post pics tomorrow to show you in a bit more detail how to do it. But it is quite simple to fit.

I have one and you need a separate breather filter, but the flow rate is better than k&n and it looks the nuts and sounds even better. Lower maintainance than piperX and k&n aswell.
