if i buy an ipad, not on contract so like no monthly bills to pay for the internet. how do i connect to the internet if i'm in a place with no wifi??

A wifi only iPad connects to a wireless network if available, if there isn't one then you can't be online.... You could get a dongle and create the wireless network but then you have monthly fees

The 3G iPad version connects online like a phone does wherever you are

If you haves wifi one and a iPhone you can create your own personal hotspot through your phone

If your phone has an internet connection just use it as a wifi hotsopt. Easy to do

How do the 3G ones work though if you have no monthly contract? Whose internet are you using?
