Hey All,

I hope you are all well.

Please can we all spare a thought to the lost people who fought with their lives for our freedom. These people have allowed us to be in a free and diplomatic state and let us own and enjoy our pride and joy cars.

I can't imagine running out of a trench into machine gun fire or more recently not knowing if your next step will mean you stumble on a land mine or get sniper fire from a mile away.

Brave people and they have my full respect.

There is a flyover at 12:10 today by a C-17 Globemaster for those who enjoy this. I'm sure most of you do.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

+2, have done for the last fortnight or so. Left mine laid down with everyone elses next to a memorial plaque ( all servicemen and women from rugby who lost their lives) at the church today.

I was working yesterday morning. Every year they have a big parade march down the high street with a whole pipe band, ex-army, current serving army, Gurkhas, police and the local scouts. Then a big laying of the wreaths ceremony. Its always very busy and they have some of the service outside and then the 2 mins silence. Very eerie having the place so quite and very touching seeing all the older army men
