my friend has a golf cab and he has just had the engine rebuilt at 70k its completley std other then the respray and i eventually pulled away at 80!!! i was very amazed as it didnt feel that quick when i sat in it. Sleeper!!

ST GTR have you actually seen an R32 up close? They are not tiny! there a fair bit bigger than the ST's!

Agree with you there bish, Golfs aint small cars and the R32 has to be the biggest of them all!
Its a beast, totally different car to an impreza or evo they cant be compared!

IMHO any car can be a boy racer car - the status only depends by who is sitting at the wheel and how it is being driven.

I remember seeing an old woman behind the wheel of a zetec S, I swear she was 80 odd. That certainly didn't make it look like a boy racer car.

I popped into a VW garage the other day, and had a little gander at the R32, someone took it for a test drive and it really did sound great! Totally agree its not a small car, and I don't think it looked like boy racer car, it looked really smart, well done VW i'd say. For me boy racer cars are those that have all the plastic bits from halfords on, yet only have a 1.2 under the hood, oh and a silly exhaust too. but thats just my opinion.
