A FESTOON bulb, not a 501/W5W, as in the title

Aaah now i get it. Sorry, sometimes my English lacks.

Well, i used one from Pilot.

You'll need one with a heat sink, this because it get's fairly hot inside the casing.
42mm 4-SMD 3 Chip CAN-bus, that's what i've used. I think...

I personally would go for Pilot for the interior. They have a bit more 'warmth; to them.
IDK how to explain in English, but they don't make your inside of a car look like a ER because of the white light.

That's because theese have a heatsink, and are CANBUS LED's.

This means they won't give a fault code, and won't mess up your signal of your car.
I use normal 5W leds on the outside, but on the inside i only use CANBUS ones. It's just that wee bit more sensitive.

Canbus is a method of communication. Using digital signals, instead of analog (ex 12V signal) In canbus systems the modules (individual computers) talk over a network (the bus) to give eachother information. This is no different than 2 computers over the internet.

In analog systems the devices in the system function when a voltage is delivered, rather than bits and bytes (canbus).

LEDs draw less current than your halogen bulbs.that's why your car thinks there is a bulb out.

You can use simple power equations to calculate the resistance you need to trick your car into thinking the bulbs are working.

You'll need input voltage, and the current your setup draws to calculate the resistor you need to get rid of the errors.

Makes sense with that explanation. I've only changed internal light and number plate lights for festoon LEDs and not had issues yet.....
