Got a post face lift. Was wondering how easy fitting fly eyes would be on those lights. Probably worth a go as it a pretty cheap mod though or could c how much my local body shop would charge cos I do like the inside of the lights in blue as I'm spraying the fog surround rings in blue when I spray the plastics.

Quote: Splitting the headlights is just a bit time consuming, i'd go to a pro to paint them personally, as its something that will be sealed back up its not like the outer plastics where you can take them back off and redo them with ease if the job wasn't up to scratch!
Speak to redstlee or freeo as both of them have covered their headlights so they're tinted!
Thanks mate I c on redstlee project thread he's had his done so I'll drop him a pm.

Fly eye mate Is easy but can be fiddely with the little side light bump
Yours look really good mate nice and tidy. Has the fly eye material got some give in it? How does it stick over the contours of the lights without creasing or folding?
Vinyl wrapping is easy as you just reheat and re stretch when it goes wrong.
I did my fog lights yellow and they look the tits, plus a lot cheaper than yellow bulbs.

Wanted to do my lights black. Didn't know if solid black vinyl would be an MOT fail cos it'll be too dark so reckon fly eyes is then way to go. Not got a heat gun though will a hair dryer do the job?
