How they did that was you will see the AP 6-pots and 4 pots have larger pistons compared to their equivalent WP pro kits where there are more of them but smaller.
VERY big in Japan/Australia at the moment, i think they use their kits in the Nissan GTR races dont quote me on that though.
Only issue is they are not big over here, i only found this out as believe it not the pumabuild 6-pots are actually WP-pros that have been ripped off and re branded which is common, as wp pro does not have copy right laws in UK/Europe, so i can buy 100 of their kit and distribute them as my own legally, but as far as wp pro are concerned as the manufacturer, they are still getting business making and distributing them.

K-sport have latched onto the same idea, but i wouldn't pay that price for those brakes unless mountune offered for the first 50K miles free pads with it or discount on discs.
evident that mountune at taking a cut of the pie in that price be easier to source directly from k-sport.
Biggest issue about sticking with wp pro for me is i have to pay import tax on discs and pads so im actually ordering a brand new kit and keeping my current for spares and repairs. also getting 4 discs and 2 sets of pads.
price comparison time!
6-pot 336mm kit costs $2200 (£1364.59)
ap racing 4-pot 330mm kit costs £1649.07
8-pot 375mm kit costs $3200 (£1984.86)
ap racing 6-pot 362mm £2474.99
HUGE savings compared even when you add the postage and import tax still saving £100-£200 on the pretty much the same performance of kit.

Wander if I could get away with bringing stuff like that back in a suitcase.
I've managed a laptop, gifts and a few little computer bits so far
It's far more then I'm looking to spend though
