I had the super brilliance ones from there, theyre more of a whiter bulb than the yellow standard ones and are much much brighter

H4 is combined dipped and full beam Gary

I would say try and get some Philips bulbs if you can, but on the UK Halfords website I only see Halfords own make and Bosch

ah i see thanks for clearing that one up stevie . I'll see what i can get in halfords tomorrow. If they only have standard bulbs because theyre a bit runnish i'll be ordering some philips bulbs off the internet. Its a bit confusing on halfords website as i could only see dipped and full beams on there own not ones that do both

One thing to note is that they also come with a 6 month garentee if for some reason one does blow within the first 6 months

make sure you don't touch the bulbs when you put them in, use kitchen roll or something
my mate is a lighting engineer and it's the same with the big lights, something to do with the moisture from your hand attracting more heat and it just makes them blow

I had HODs in my ST for about 8 months with no problems at all unlike some other peoples on here seemed to blow really early

put my new bulbs in today and one of the sidelight bulbs wasnt workinh so theyve sent me out a new one to replace it. had another problem and my wing on the drivers side has now developed a few mm gap between it and the headlight so need to sort that out now. The bulbs are nice and bright tho

I’m on my third set of H4 bulbs and I’ve only had the car about 9 months..as my mother once told me “Thee buys cheap thee buys twice duck” in my case three time

Anyway regarding the gap between your wing.. make sure the light is locked into the bracket as I nearly missed it the first time..Honestly I’ve had the front lights out more times than soft mick... I think i could set a new world record
