I have to admit, I haven't watched the last couple of races, given the inevitability of the world championship. Unfortunately, I feel the same now as I did when I stopped watching in the 90's (Schumacher).

Hopefully the new regulations will even things out a little bit.

Why stop watching it, there are still awesome battles going on, I think it's been a pretty decent season tbh

It's just the certain inevitability puts a downer on it, that's all. I wake up in the morning, know that Vettel has won it so just catch the highlights instead of watching the whole thing. I suspect I'm not the only one either.

You just have to compare F1 and BTCC to see which one is a more entertaining watch.

Yeh but very different, watch BSB and it goes up a level again

I'll never not watch F1, one serious addict here

Not really bothered watching it this year, not because i dont like it, its more becuase i have no channels on tv that show it

Next year will be one to watch, reliability will factor into it a lot more

Jack, you don't have BBC1????

Yes but half the time its on sky i never keep track of when its actually on bbc

Yeh fair enough, normally just the showcase races, Silverstone, Spa, Monaco, Monza, Abu Dhabi etc

Ross Brawn is leaving Mercedes then........

He will leave his position as Mercedes team principal at the end of this season.

"Brawn and Mercedes have failed to reach an agreement on a role in which he would have been happy to stay at the team"

"Mercedes will now be run in tandem by their two executive directors, Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe, along with non-executive chairman Niki Lauda"

Thought as much. Apparently it's been confirmed otherwise but he'd do worse than take a position at McLaren.

Hope so, link back up with Button, they were awesome together !!!!

It says on the website that hea rumoured to link back up tonhonda in 2015, who are to be in an agreement with mclaren....and who races for them? thought as much

Sat with my feet up, having lunch, watching P1 from Abu Dhabi

The lack of comment here sums it up I think, not exactly a classic. Some good racing in the middle of the field again, but in this race at least we seem to have gone from some decent racing in the non-Vettel race to some decent stuff in the non-podium race. We'll have to see whether Alonso has put himself out of the remaining races after slamming into the kerbs yesterday.

To be honest, I watched the quail, knew the race result as a result of that, so didn't actually watch the race at all.
