Ultimately its up to yourself as to how much or how little you wish to take with you. Myself, I'll be taking:

Bucket
Sponge
Car shampoo
Leather drying cloth
Polishing cloth
Autoglym super resin polish
Back to black tyre spray
Dashboard wipes
Glass cleaner

I think I've listed everything there lol.

Crikey! After my wife has loaded all of her stuff into the boot i might just have enough room for the sponge! and that will have to go in the glove box!
