Mmmm.  Black with red interior  Very, very tempting. Just need to know what the cruising MPG is like first. I'm running a 1.0 Ecoboost Focus at the moment  which is averaging 41 MPG. If it'll do that, which I think it will with the six speed box, then I may be tempted

40mph technically is'nt around town driving considering the majority of the roads are 30mph
can you drive at 30mph though around town in 6th?
what focus is it?

Hi,
ive just ordered the fiesta ST-2 from the Alperton branch, what showroom in essex has the fiesta ST? Am desperate to see it.
I'm seeing pictures of the ST-2 some have cruise control some do not, some have auto lights and again the next picture wont. [ you can tell from the number of notches in the headlight switch] ...from what i have seen every picture of the new ST has auto wipers from the sensor ontop of the windscreen, [look for the T shaped black area, thats the rain sensor]
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THERE IS A FIESTA ST ON SHOW AS OF TODAY/TOMORROW PLEASE.

No key free no auto lights and no cruise control
I think there is one at dagneham branch in Essex but might need to give them a call first

It looks like UK spec STs have had the Rain Sensor removed. Euro Spec Sts have it, which are the cars we have been seeing in road tests. Bit annoying and enough for me to now think twice about ordering. You can specify a Zetec 1.0 with Rain Sensor but not an ST? I have emailed Ford for confirmation of the specs but have not had an answer yet.
Definitely NO cruise control.
I'm pretty sure ST 1s have keyless start but ST 2s have keyless entry. Waiting for confirmation on that as well

I ordered the ST 2 in march. BEWARE. My car has been built. It was built on the 26th April. But there is a stocking issue for the red calipers so my car Is sitting there waiting for the red calipers before ford will 'gate release' my car for shipment. My delivery date was the 15th may its now been pushed back to the 7th June at the earliest. Anyone with the style pack for the ST I suggest you contact your dealer and demand an update.

I was told at weekend mine scheduled to be a June build.
did you order at the weekend then?
on the initial order form i was quoted may 20th when i ordered mid march
but when i called for an update they said its usually a 12/15 week wait
and to call back for an update towards the end of may
so i don't know what to believe

I ordered mine mid march, Last update was May 11th for delivery to the dealer, I best call for update tomorrow I cannot wait til June, won't be impressed

My car was ordered on the day the order book was open to the public. It has been at Southampton for three weeks as it's part of the stopped shipment. This is the reply from Ford logistics to my dealers request as to why it was stopped.
“This vehicle is currently part of a Stop Ship due to concerns with the Red Brake Callipers on Fiesta ST’s with ST Style Pack. We are currently waiting on Plant Directives and Time Scales on repairs if needed with regards to this concern and as soon as we know more I will contact you and advise accordingly.”

Stopped shipment? Faulty Brakes? Wow I'm starting to wonder if I might die lol, to call my dealer today but my salesman doesn't work on Wednesdays so will call him tomorrow for an update on mine. Do you think that we might have some sort of claim for discount due to delivery dates not been kept?

No one's going to die, it's a part supply issue. The can't get painted calipers so they've all got slave non painted calipers on

Glad I'm not going to die, unless I'm stupid and crash lol, called the dealer today, of update, he said that my car is still in cologne? Didn't realise that's we're they made them, going down the ST line having its finishing touches, he said delay was 2 weeks and its now arriving on 25th May

if the have normal calipers on they should just ship the cars then recall them to the dealer and let them fit them at a later date when they have the stock

I think the orange is more like a light orange than a deep orange. My hubby is convincing me to go and get an orange one with the orange seats as he said theres not many on the road and would be a proper 'look at me' motor LOL. He knows me so well . Not sure it would go with my blonde hair though !

Go on order one lol mine is white with grey seats but i do like the orange
