I suppose if its toys you want, you get the Titanium. If you are more interested in the driving (performance and handling) you get the ST.
I suppose some of the toys are not options to keep the cost down and set the bargain price point in comparison to the competition.
What is somewhat confusing is that a lot of reviews refer to the desire for Ford to make this a global release but the specs are different all over the world and so it kind of defeats the object of that. Seems the Americans are getting a bigger display in centre columm and between the dials and extra mini dials. They are also ONLY getting four doors option where Europe is not getting four door option at all.
So where is the "global" in all that.
And why do I have to wait for a June build! :-( Boo-hoo.
(Please god, give me patience - but I want it right now!)
BTW Evans Halshaw in Bedford have one in (ST2 in Race Red)

Unfortunately, the lack of features/options stopped me from getting the new ST. My old titanium was loaded with gadgets but I didn't want another titanium, I wanted the ST lol.

I ordered the ST 2 in march. BEWARE. My car has been built. It was built on the 26th April. But there is a stocking issue for the red calipers so my car Is sitting there waiting for the red calipers before ford will 'gate release' my car for shipment. My delivery date was the 15th may its now been pushed back to the 7th June at the earliest. Anyone with the style pack for the ST I suggest you contact your dealer and demand an update.

No, they are going by the overboost figure of 200bhp. It's time limited just like ours.

I thought the Style Pack was a freebie from Ford - so isn't everyone in the same boat? Or has anyone ordered it and requested not to have the style pack.
I was told at weekend mine scheduled to be a June build.

did you order at the weekend then?

on the initial order form i was quoted may 20th when i ordered mid march

but when i called for an update they said its usually a 12/15 week wait

and to call back for an update towards the end of may

so i don't know what to believe

what lead times are the dealers giving you guys?

I ordered mine mid march, Last update was May 11th for delivery to the dealer, I best call for update tomorrow I cannot wait til June, won't be impressed

To clarify - I ordered on 18th April and was given a vague 10-12 weeks delivery time, i.e. end june/beginning July. Happened to be there this Sat and popped in for an update and when salesman checked the computer he told me about the June build. BTW this is from Mantles in Biggleswade.

I was lucky was thinkin in march shall i buy a new st so i didnt have
To wait dealer ordered 10 in and luckily one was white so put my name
On it he ordered um in november. Good things cum to those who wait
Guys believe me it will be worth the wait i love mine and yes my style
Pack was free x
