waiting time mine was ordered the 16th feb and sitting at my local fords on the 22nd so i was lucky,there are some big delays on the orders due to a leaking front brake and there still is no movement

My car was ordered on the day the order book was open to the public. It has been at Southampton for three weeks as it's part of the stopped shipment. This is the reply from Ford logistics to my dealers request as to why it was stopped.

“This vehicle is currently part of a Stop Ship due to concerns with the Red Brake Callipers on Fiesta ST’s with ST Style Pack. We are currently waiting on Plant Directives and Time Scales on repairs if needed with regards to this concern and as soon as we know more I will contact you and advise accordingly.”

I suppose its better than writing the car off due to brake failure

but looks like we are in for some long delays

Hopefully they do a 500 version with a few more toys and a MT kit
...what I really want is an version!

Stopped shipment? Faulty Brakes? Wow I'm starting to wonder if I might die lol, to call my dealer today but my salesman doesn't work on Wednesdays so will call him tomorrow for an update on mine. Do you think that we might have some sort of claim for discount due to delivery dates not been kept?

No one's going to die, it's a part supply issue. The can't get painted calipers so they've all got slave non painted calipers on

Not bothered about the colour of the brakes just want the car, the style pack's free anyway.

Glad I'm not going to die, unless I'm stupid and crash lol, called the dealer today, of update, he said that my car is still in cologne? Didn't realise that's we're they made them, going down the ST line having its finishing touches, he said delay was 2 weeks and its now arriving on 25th May

Hope it's only a 2 week delay mate as due to this caliper business going on so far for quite a few have now had a month delay just hope they sort it out before your car is released due to the major back log of sts and I would take what the dealer says with a pinch of salt as they have still not been informed of what's going on with the caliper

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they sort it quicks as I don't think I could wait until mid June.

well the st1s are getting here now due to it has no style pack
