Ive emailed a copy of ur piccys to the lab geeks at my place to see what they say. but it doesnt look too bad. Just needs taking back and a re polish. definately worth finding someone near you to do it professionally as it could be an expensive mistake for a novice.

I'm with Luke on this. Gtechniq P1 by hand with a german applicator will easily rectify that. I've used it on mine by hand with great results

It would look great if he took it to a professional, but if he had a go himself, I highly doubt that he would do any damage. Correcting by hand takes loads of effort just to remove a few microns of paint, unless he decided to go straight in and wet sand or use a rotary (which given a bit of care and thought isn't an issue really)
Also there's something really satisfying about putting the effort into your own car and seeing the results =]

Dont get me wrong TheTard, I agree with what your saying. Yes it is great making it ur own. But ive seen what happens when people go to a detailing supplier and buy a DA or rotary and completely fu**ing it up and was just offering my advice. If ur too light and gentle you might as well of not bothered, if ur too heavy handed and slow you could burm the paint and lacquer together (respray only way to fix) and if ur heavy handed and quick you get swirl marks and hologramming.

The above will help.
