Correcting by hand takes loads of effort just to remove a few microns of paint, unless he decided to go straight in and wet sand or use a rotary (which given a bit of care and thought isn't an issue really)

Dont get me wrong TheTard, I agree with what your saying. Yes it is great making it ur own. But ive seen what happens when people go to a detailing supplier and buy a DA or rotary and completely fu**ing it up and was just offering my advice. If ur too light and gentle you might as well of not bothered, if ur too heavy handed and slow you could burm the paint and lacquer together (respray only way to fix) and if ur heavy handed and quick you get swirl marks and hologramming.
