So you're 41 then?

Older than me - 40 in September!

I pay £350 fully comp. Protected with only £100 excess.

I've had one claim in the last zillion years. I'm sure you could beat those quotes.

Unless Im very mistaken there are only 12 months in a year??

39 year's and 18 months makes him ---- 40 and a half old.

Its a lot to do with the post code and the job you do....I always get hit for my job.....i have 13 years NCD and live in an OK postcode am 36 but still have to cough up £502 cos I work in the entertainment industry....I have always though the postcode & job thing is a scam but we seem to be stuck with the rubish system...some people must win I guess?

That would be correct.
But if your other car is a lower group than your ST transfer the no-claims bonus to the ST and start a new policy on the other car
